Adam Clarke (1760 – 1832) was a Methodist theologian and Biblical scholar who wrote a commentary on the Bible. It was considered the most comprehensive commentary on the Bible ever prepared by one man. Adam Clarke’s commentary helps to study the King James Version, sometimes considered a bit difficult to understand because of some antiquated words or words that have changed meanings or have dropped entirely out of common usage, so that you really need some help to understand them.

Disfrute en su teléfono, una de las Biblias más utilizadas por las Iglesias cristianas de habla hispana del mundo: la Biblia del Oso, Sagradas Escrituras o Reina Valera, publicada en el año 1569.

Su redactor fue Casiodoro Reina quien fuera un sólido protestante. La primera revisión de esta versión de la Biblia fue realizada por Cipriano de Valera, de donde proviene el nombre Reina Valera.

A lo largo de los años ha sufrido varias revisiones, hoy le ofrecemos el original llamado Biblia del Oso, ya que en su primera edición el libro contaba con la imagen de un oso en la tapa.

La versión revisada por Reina fue la primera traducción completa de la Biblia en castellano utilizando como base manuscritos originales en hebreo y griego. La Biblia del oso refleja la belleza de la literatura del llamado Siglo de Oro.

Como fue realizada en el siglo XVI y el idioma está en constante cambio y actualización, a veces se nos hace difícil comprender algunos vocablos de ese tiempo. Es por eso que les presentamos esta Biblia de estudio que contiene comentarios, aclaraciones y notas explicando cada versículo.

Matthew Henry fue un importante escritor, teólogo, comentarista y expositor bíblico nacido en Gales, Reino Unido, en 1662.
